Sneak Peek for the W. girls

This morning I got to meet up with these lovely ladies. I just love this family of five wonderful girls! Yep, I said five. Five. Every one of them is an absolute pleasure to be around. They are extremely curious (and imaginative!!) and I believe they had just as much fun at our location as I did photographing them! Thanks, Lynne, for bringing them out! Here's your sneak peek.

T. Family

A couple of weeks ago I was invited to join the T. family for a family gathering. It was sort of a second wedding reception. The couple got married out of state and this was a chance for those that weren't able to travel for the event to get together and enjoy the bride and groom. What a wonderful group of people! The highlight for me and, I suspect, everyone else, was when Uncle Al (I think they said he's 96!) got up and played the harmonica while the bride and groom enjoyed a dance. Awesome Uncle....awesome family. I had a great time!

Sneak Peek for the E. Family!

I had such a great time during my session with this family! J. & D. are some of the nicest people I've met and their kids are so polite and friendly. In addition to all of that greatness, we had a beautiful, warm, fall day for our shoot! If I'd brought some mosquito repellent I think we could have called it perfect! Thanks for a great day, E. family, and I hope J. had a great time at the dance.

So Much Fun!!

I had such a great time with this family on Saturday! They invited me to photograph them at the families' horse farm in Northville and it was just awesome! I grew up in a large family so being around these wonderful people felt wonderfully familiar. Everywhere you turn at the farm there's another cousin, aunt, sister....and you can see the love they have for each other. I'd like to thank them for being so welcoming. It was such fun for me to join you for the afternoon.

Here's your sneak peek. :-)

More of the F. family...

Earlier I posted a few photos from the first half of the session I did with the F. family. Here's a look at how the rest of the session went for us. These people are just crazy lots of fun! Check her out in all her maternity-ness hangin' out on her hubby's Harley. Does is get much cooler than that...I mean, c'mon! And those shoes....yummy!!

Meet the F. family...

This just may have been the most photo-related fun I've EVER had! I really just can't say enough good things about this family (but I'm gonna try!). Mom is a fellow photographer and a very talented one, at that. If you're looking for a photographer in the Macomb area you should give her a call (Moments Captured by Retha)! She's also one of the nicest people I've met. Dad was such a good sport and clearly enjoys his family. And, their son....wow! So sweet and well-mannered. The three of them were up for anything so we tried some new stuff and just had a blast!

Here's a little taste from the first half of their session.

Cranbrook

Several weeks ago I had the opportunity to meet up with a couple of my photographer friends. We decided to grab our kids and head over to Cranbrook House & Gardens for some shots of our own little hooligans. I thought that my daughter was going to jump at the chance to do some 'fashion model' pretending. Um....turns out, not so much. It was fun for both kids for about....oh, I dunno....maybe 30 seconds? In spite of the whole experience being oh-so-boring for them, they gave me just what I wanted and I had a fabulous time. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.
